The Council of Catholic Women acts through its membership to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. Programs respond with Gospel Values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.
The St. Joseph’s CCW invites all parishioners to participate in the 2020 National Day of Fasting and Prayer to end hunger. We encourage you to fast and donate the cost of the day’s meals (Thursday, 11/19) to help support those in most need. All donations will be given to the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry. Envelopes will be provided in the gathering space.
You can drop your donations in the collection basket at weekend Masses. Please make checks payable to St. Joseph CCW and clearly mark “Fasting” in the memo. The deadline to donate is Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Prayer: We ask you Father to hold in Your arms those in most need. Give them the shelter, protection, and nourishment when they most need it. Grant us the strength, will, and ability to do our part to help those that go without. We lift this prayer up through the intercession of your Blessed Mother and our Patroness, Our Lady of Good Counsel. Amen.
